Elena faccenda, visual artist

Born in Rome in 1987, she rapidly replaced dolls and toys with crayons and chalks, hence inaugurating her career as a creative. Her drive for art urged her to sign up for illustration courses at SRF (Roman School of Comics), where she mastered techniques such as hatching, watercolour, oil, acrylics. In 2012 she moves to London to complete her studies in Asian Cultures and explore the British vant-guarde scenario. In the process of the scrutiny of Art she came to understand it as a  cluster of craftsmanship whose ultimate goal abides in having the public be mirrored in the artwork; her artistic quest is all about accomplishing such assumption.

She is currently collaborating with Macai Gallery (Southwark) as Artist in Residence.
